Le Garçon Saigon, Hong Kong

Le Garçon Saigon, the newest Vietnamese Grillhouse in Hong Kong opened by Vietnamese-Australian chef Bao La, is looking to bring traditional South Vietnamese flavours to Hong kong for the first time.

It is located in a cute space at the heart of Wan Chai, which reminds me of a chic Parisian brasserie with traces of old school Vietnamese menu items as wall decor and Vietnamese-style wicker chairs.IMG_7163IMG_7181IMG_7124Don’t expect to find the usual Vietnamese noodle soup here, instead, you will find the perfectly grilled meat/fish/vegetables accompanied by fresh herbs, pickles and vermicelli noodles for you to make your very own rice paper rolls, with a side of crispy spring rolls and some dessert to finish off (which is a must)! Even better, every day between 5-7, they offer happy hour where you get free-flow from a selection of Vietnamese and Parisian beers and wines. The perfect place to chill and catch up with friends over beer and snacks!
