Fish & Meat, Hong Kong

Fish & Meat, as its name suggests, offers seafood and steak as well as homemade pasta. Fish & Meat is set in a rustic space in the most central part of Hong Kong. Fish & Meat focuses a lot on fresh ingredients, honest cooking and a farm-to-table dining experience.

Uni (sea urchin) & ikura (fish roe) toast

This was the dish that drawn my attention to Fish & Meat, I mean, just look at it! The abundance of sea urchin is great, however the taste wasn’t as impressive as it looks. Hrmm, I’m not too sure about the combination of sea urchin and fish roe with toast.

O’Connor Farm grass-fed 100% natural beef tartare / pickled jalapeño / duck yolk / Parmesan

Yup, there is a lot of beef underneath those leaves! This dish is definitely designed for sharing as the portion is quite large!

Fresh squid ink linguine / sea urchin / red carabineros prawns / garlic / chilli / salmon roe

This dish was my favourite out of all. The homemade pasta tasted very fresh and the sea urchin topping was something I’ve never seen before, but tasted amazing with the pasta!

Farm house jam / vodka / homemade blueberry thyme jam / prosecco

Fish & Meat offers some delicious cocktails, and this is one of their signatures!
