Catalunya Restaurant, Hong Kong

Catalunya, as the name suggests, is a Spanish restaurant inspired by the sophisticated regional cuisine of Catalunya. Spain is one of the world’s most gastronomical destinations, drawn on the diverse cultural influences and exquisite ingredients. Thanks to an international team of award-winning culinary experts from some of the world’s most celebrated Spanish restaurants such as elBulli, El Celler de Can Roca, Mugaritz, Arzak and Restaurante Martín Berasategui, this rich culinary heritage is introduced to Hong Kong at Catalunya which delivers a truly authentic Spanish dining experience.

On my recent trip to Hong Kong, I visited Catalunya in the hope of reliving my Barcelona holiday. From the name of signature dishes to the taste, everything was just like Barcelona, and felt like I was back in Spain again!

SPHERICAL OLIVES

A distinctive approach to Spanish olives. Have them in one bite and watch out for the pit!

This reminds me of the ones I had at Bodega 1900 in Barcelona!

AVOCADO AND LOBSTER ROLL

A seafood delight, this tantalising roll is filled with lobster, avocado, vegetables and mayonnaise

JAMÓN IBÉRICO “GRAN RESERVA” 100% BELLOTA

This cured Ibérico ham is a must-try!

HAM, CHEESE AND TRUFFLE “BIKINI”

You’re not getting a swimsuit! This ham, cheese and truffle sandwich will transport you right to Catalunya. Just like these Bikinis from Tapas 24 in Barcelona!

THE PERFECT EGG

Scrambled egg with caviar, truffle and potato foam served in an egg shell. If this is not perfect, I don’t know what is!

CRYSTAL BREAD WITH FOIE GRAS, FIGS AND IBÉRICO HAM
